COMFORT MEASURES
Be more relaxed, comfortable
and confident as you progress through the stages
of labor with various relaxation techniques and
positions. This class will teach you different
ways to make your birth more satisfying while
keeping your birth partner involved.

LAMAZE ®
Childbirth preparation that encourages the birthing
woman to utilize relaxation and breathing techniques
to maintain physiological and psychological balance
during labor. Course includes information on the
stages of labor, available medical interventions,
medication and anesthesia, cesarean birth, VBAC
and the early postpartum period.

PREPARED CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION
Childbirth preparation that offers "freedom
of choice based on knowledge of alternatives."
These classes are designed to fit your needs and
to make your birthing experience more enjoyable.
Classes include: anatomy review, discomforts of
pregnancy, breathing techniques for labor, how
labor starts and what happens along the way, non-medicated
pain relief other than breathing, medication available,
role of the birth partner and reasons for a cesarean
birth.

BABY CARE 101
This program is essential for first time parents;
it provides practical information on daily care,
infant safety, appearance and behavior of your
newborn. Practice holding, soothing and diapering
babies using our dolls, and learn how to survive
the first weeks at home.
BREASTFEEDING
Learn all the benefits of breastfeeding your baby,
positioning, correct latch, support and any other
information you need to have a successful breast-fed
baby.
