Birth Doula Workshops

Have you ever imagined being present at the most incredible time of a woman’s life… the birth of her baby? Assisting new parents with informational, physical & emotional support through their journey into parenthood? That role would be a birth doula and this 3 day intensive workshop taught by Donna Docktor is the first step towards that reality. To learn more about birth doulas and the benefits of this role, go to http://www.dona.org/mothers/faqs_birth.php

DONA International Approved Birth Doula Workshop
This Birth Doula Workshop has been approved as one step towards certification as a doula by DONA International. To learn more about doulas go to www.dona.org

Prerequisites for this workshop:

  • Read at least 1 (one) of the books from the "Childbirth" Category AND 1 (one) of the books from the "Labor Support" Category of the DONA Certification reading list (found at www.dona.org/develop/birth_cert.php)
